Bhojan-o-pedia "Cauliflower Samosa"

While the breezy evenings and the chilling mornings knowing our doors and announcing "Winter is coming", the markets are getting overflown with delightful and colourful winter vegeies.

Winter is the season where we simply cannot resist those charming sips over our masala tea or the brewing coffee. And nothing can beat if there is some garmagaram chatpata samosa along with our favorite beverages.

Samosa is an Indian snack which is celebrated over the length and breath of the country. These bombing parcels are an ocean of flavours at its every bite but a really easy snack to cook.

Come lets explore the recipe of Samosa with Cauliflower stuffing

To make the dough use maida add salt, baking soda and white oil and mix it properly. Then sprinkle water and keep mixing and smashing to make a sticky dough. Keep the dough in rest for half an hour.

To make the stuffing dice half a cauliflower in small pieces and fry them until brown with a pinch of salt and sugar. Then boil two potatoes and smash them until there are no lumps.

Then add some white oil in the frying pan, add curry leaves, some mustard seeds, peanuts and raisins and fry them up a little.

Then add the smashed potato and mix then well. For flavour add some salt, sugar, red chilli powder and amchur powder for the kick. Finally add the cauliflower pieces and make the final stir.

Tadaaaa!!! the stuffing is ready.

Now to make the parcels, take small balls of dough and flatten them like a chapati. Then slice them down in half a circle. Then while rolling them in the form of a cone add the stuffing inside and seal it.

Then take white oil in a pan and deep fry the samosa parcels untill golden brown and in no time you will indulge in its aroma around.
